It’s been a long time between my last Blog (January 2024) and this one, so, go ahead and report me to the Blog Tariff Commission, I dare you! The worst thing that can happen is my Tariff will go from .003 % to 003.5 % or, in monetary terms, .20 cents. I forgive you, so let’s forge ahead.
This will be Blog, Part 1 because I have many photos to publish.
But first, Useless Fact of the Day: The movie “Psycho” was the first movie to show a toilet flushing. You're welcome!
It’s a good chance that most of these photos were taken at Horicon Marsh, Thiensville Dam, Villa Grove Park, Lions’ Den, Port Washington South Beach, Mequon Preserve, Prairie du Sac, or the shore areas of the Mississippi River.

Egrets
Technically, I'm not a true "birder," but I love photographing birds, especially large birds like eagles, sandhill cranes and herons. A real birder knows a lot more about birds than I do, particularly from an academic point of view.
But I love the beauty and grace of birds, their songs, their take-offs and their landings. My favorite photos hopefully show the birds pieces of art to be admired.
The egret exemplifies this quality.
